Over the summer and fall of 2021, I had the amazing opportunity to intern virtually at the NASA Ames Research Center to help ideate and redesign the future of the NASA Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) programs.

The main components of my internship were as follows:

• Qualitative, interview-based industry research including card sorts and roadmaps
• Creation of SBIR/STTR customer experience and employee experience guides
• Personal facilitation of 25+ interviews with customers and employees of SBIR/STTR
• Futures design research using interview data from 150+ interviews
• UI design side project redesigning the SBIR solicitations page
